The Equal Rights Center’s General Fair Housing, interactive course covers all the essential aspects of fair housing law, including:
- understanding protected classes,
- assessing reasonable accommodations, and
- avoiding discriminatory practices in advertising, tenant screening, source of income/vouchers, and evictions.
The modules contain material for all skill levels and is appropriate for:
- leasing/sales agents,
- human resources departments,
- maintenance personnel, and
- all other executive management or staff who interact with prospects and residents.
The platform is easily accessible, can be completed at your own pace, and provides practical, real-world examples. It takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, and learners will receive a certificate upon completion.
